I love this feature!

(simple?) Ideas to make it even better:
Button on Toolbar
It's a little odd to keep using "Extras->Settings->Auto Replacements".
I don't see how to create a Shortcut/Macro to get here with that way cool tool :)
Maybe it's just my issue because I use it so frequently.

Option of choosing a txt file (txt/sql/etc) as Replacement Text
I would love to grab the Replacement Key (the text we want to insert) from a text file. I'm a fan of a relative path to help sync between two computers, place them in source control, dropbox and edit/share the files individually.
Heck, setting a directory to scan for replacement files would be amazing for setup, but maybe very niche and involve adding the key to the file itself.

I believe being able to store replacements as their own files would benefit those with larger scripts (not just ssf->SELECT * FROM)

Table of Contents
Similar to the table that shows Token/Replacement, a list of keys and maybe a small preview of the Replacement.
SSMS Tools Pack has a similar feature, though instead of just popping it up, it generates and saves it to an HTML file. This would work if you could just click a button/shortcut and it would save to html and run.

Ok, so: you want to be able to call autoreplacements dialog from toolbar directly. Correct ?

So, instead of provinding the text, you want the possibility to provide the path to file with replacement text, correct ?

So, you want a the to quickly list all autoreplacements.. I thought that autoreplacement dialog is anough for that. Maybe we can extend it somehow to suit you needs ? We could show the "small preview" of the replacement statement in the grid on the left (readonly) and make dialog sizeable, so you can stretch it to the whole screen. (I am just trying to minimize the work, and make existing functionality better)

Yes, or a hotkey/context menu.

Yes.
But if the normal page (auto replacements dialog) could be called through a button/context/hotkey and open larger, that would handle this fine I think.

This is one of the tools that other people see me using and they ask for the address. It's just a little less impressive (time saving) when I have to drill down through a menu to remember what shortcut token I used 🙂
