Hi

Great plugin, it pretty much does all the things I find missing from SSMS.

I have a couple of suggestions though that would really help:

1) Add an option to show ONLY preferred connections in the connections drop down. This would allow me to connect quickly to the databases I use most without the distraction of other databases that just happen to be on the current server (these I can get to in the normal Available Databases drop down).

2) Add an option to NOT expand the current node in the Object Explorer when you Locate object or Auto Synchronize. As I switch queries I would only like to see the node selected and not expanded. Most of the time I am not navigating into the database objects but simply changing query windows.

Many thanks
Russell

Thank you Russel,
Good proposals. Easy to implement. We will add them to coming release !

More suggestions:

1. Add "preferred connection" option to not expand object explorer tree when connect.
2. Add possibility to make multiple "Custom Script" profiles. For example, sometime I need to script entity with option "IncludeIfNotExists"=false but sometime this script option should be set to "true".
3. Add option "do not show when offline" to do not show connection in drop-down list when object Explorer status is show as offline. In object explorer this connection still should be available to observe current status. When server will be online, connection should appear in menu.

Done. Wait for next release (1 week)

Interesting Idea. How do you want to switch between different scripting profiles ? Combobox on toolbar ? Other Ideas ?

Also nice idea. I will check if it is possible to access the status of the server in SSMS object model.

Hm, imho one setting should be set as default(setting which exists now should be set as default) and linked to keyboard shortcut (most of users do not need such functionality so they work should not be changed).
To reach "additional" scripting functionality i think you should do not split scripting into ALTER and CREATE functionality. Imho, it should be part of script configuration(although it is does not come from ScriptingOptions).
So, resuming: existing scripter functionality should stay as is, but for multiple configurations please create separate drop-down list.
For usability, you should add option like 'Script as ALTER/CREATE'.

Ok, I understand you. We will add it to todo list for later evaluation. (Sorry, will be done not so fast, as far as we want to add some features, that are requested by many-many-many other developers. (like statement logging..)

Agree, statement logging also as auto-save feature can be very useful.

"Easy-to-implement"😄 suggestion:add possibility to assign shortcut for every preferred connection (do not fill it by default).

Yes - both are on short todo list.

Hello Andrei,
Is suggestion "add possibility to assign shortcut for every preferred connection" already implemented?

Hi, no, shortcuts for connections are not implemented. Do you need it really ?
